So engraving jewelry has many advantages. Plus, it is simple to do, or to get it done by a professional. Actually, you can do it with many metals: from the soft ones like gold to tougher ones like stainless steel. Metal engraving machines penetrate the metal to draw any design a jeweler would want on its piece of jewelry.
You can do it on a nice small plate that you can add to your bracelet, necklace or accessory using a jump ring. This technique would allow you to engrave the same item several times, that you can add to very different pieces. You only have to adjust the parameters of the machine ones since you engrave the same plate, so it is faster and easier.
The other possibility is to engrave directly on a jewelry piece. For example, you can engrave on a clasp for bracelets, or on a charms and pendants directly. There is no need to use a jump ring but you need to do the process on every jewelry directly, so you can’t use the same engraving for a bracelet and a necklace.
