Why Choose Our Copper Chains?
Materials, finishes and platings
The collection includes solid copper base chains, silver plated copper chains (925 sterling silver plated, nickel free), gold plated copper chains, and stainless steel ball chains for accent work. All plated variants use 925 sterling silver or gold plating with a nickel free finish, meaning they are suitable for sensitive skin. For solid copper wire work, see also our wholesale copper wire and antique copper plated metal beads and chains.
Sizes, thickness and weight
Chain thickness starts from 1mm for delicate designs and goes up to 6mm for statement pieces. Length dimensions on styled chains range from 8mm to 46mm per link, with weight per metre from 40g to 106g depending on the model. This range covers everything from fine necklaces and layering pieces to bold statement chains.
Pricing models: per metre, per gram and per piece
Copper chains are sold in three pricing models. Standard brush chains, styled chains and antique chains ship at €30 per unit (925 sterling silver plated). Silver beads chains and gold beads chains are priced per gram at 18 to 21 cents per gram, giving flexible pricing tied to actual chain weight. Ball chains are sold per roll or piece (€0.75 to €2.75) depending on size.
Chain styles across the collection
The range covers Brush Chains (50+ styles), Antique Chains, Antique Style Chains, Chains with Brush Finish, Silver Styled Chains (Bali, Queen, Snake Skinned, Royal, Tropic, Majestic, Oval, Strip, Double Ring and more), Ball Chains, and CO series decorative copper chains. Each style offers a distinct visual character for designers building varied jewellery lines.
Custom production and OEM
For larger orders we offer OEM production, custom plating (rose gold, gun black, antique brass), custom chain lengths and logo engraving on metal components. This makes copper chains a strong option for jewellery brands scaling private label collections. Contact our team for MOQs and lead times.
How to Work wit Copper Chains

- Attach clasps and connectors using jump rings from our findings range for a secure closure
- For layered looks, combine multiple thicknesses (1mm delicate plus 3mm statement) for depth
- Add pendants, charms or gemstone drops with lobster clasps or jump rings for interchangeable design
- Polish silver plated and gold plated chains with a soft cloth to maintain shine, avoiding harsh cleaners that damage the plating

Frequently Asked Questions
Are these chains solid copper or plated copper?
The range mixes both. Copper base chains are solid copper. Brush chains, styled chains and antique chains are 925 sterling silver plated on a copper base. Gold plated variants use gold plating over copper base. Product pages show the exact finish for each SKU.
Are the plated chains nickel free?
Yes. All 925 sterling silver plated chains in this collection are nickel free and suitable for sensitive skin.
How are silver and gold beads chains priced?
Both are sold per gram (silver at 18 cents/gram, gold at 21 cents/gram). Total price depends on actual chain weight, which we list per metre on each product page.
What is the minimum order for copper chains?
Each SKU has its own pack size. There is no overall minimum order and you can mix SKUs, styles and finishes freely across a single order.
Can copper chains be resized or shortened?
Yes. Use flush cutters to open a link cleanly, then close with jump rings or a clasp connector. See our findings and clasps ranges for the right components.
Do you offer custom platings not shown in the catalogue?
For larger orders we can produce custom platings including rose gold, gun black and antique brass finishes. Contact our team for MOQs and lead times.
Are copper chains safe for daily wear?
Yes, with normal care. Avoid water exposure, harsh chemicals and prolonged sweat contact to maintain plating and finish. Store separately to prevent scratches.
