Materialenbeurs 2026

The Materialenbeurs is a Dutch materials fair organised by Bags & Shoes of Dutch Design, bringing together bag makers, shoe makers and leather workers in one place. It is a smaller, specialist event in Utrecht with a very hands-on, community feel, where makers come to discover materials, meet suppliers and get inspired.

Sun Enterprises joined the April 2026 edition as an exhibitor, and it was a great match. Our product range fits right into what visitors to this fair are looking for: premium materials for bags and handbags, specialised components for shoes and footwear, finishing details and leather accessories, and an extensive range of laces and cords in various finishes.

The atmosphere was close-knit and the conversations were genuine. Talking directly to makers who work with leather every day gave us a clear sense of what they need and what they value in a supplier. It was a rewarding day and exactly the kind of event where quality products speak for themselves.
