What is the base wire made of?

How are gemstone chains packaged?
All gemstone chains are sold in 3 metre packs. Named gemstones are €4 per metre (€12 per pack) and numbered variants are €6.50 per metre (€15 per pack).

Do the gemstone chains come with clasps attached?
