A little about wax cotton cords

For a long time, cotton was the first choice of fabric for most people. However, with the advent of waterproof synthetics, cotton products took a backseat. As a result, the cotton market received a massive hit. But things started changing when oilcloth came into the picture. And once waxed cotton started gaining popularity among manufacturers, cotton came back into the business. It was only a matter of time before the waxed cotton cords largely replaced waterproof synthetics. Wax cotton cords are cotton infused with paraffin-based wax or natural beeswax-based wax.

How to make a bracelet from a wax cotton cord

To start a bracelet, use about 12″ of waxed cotton cord and slide all but two of the spacer beads to the middle of your cord. You will have to use the extra two spacers and 4mm beads for the end knots. Tie a knot right against both ends of the spacers so the spacers are centered. Next, you can tie your sliding knot. Finally you have your bracelet.
